The Joyce—a laid-back pub with a serious love for craft beer and really, really good food. We’re proudly walk-in only, always rotating our taps, and forever championing New Brunswick breweries, makers, and good times.

  • Very comfortable seating and excellent staff (shout out to Chris). Other than it being a little loud (speakers above our table, and a boisterous wedding next door) it was a perfect evening. Our table tried wings, lobster roll, mug club, pakora shawarma, fish and chips and two dessert. Caesar salad was ultra delicious. The hotel has free EV parking as well!

  • The Joyce is always a win! Tried the Scotch eggs and soup of the day. The latter was a cream of celery with pear and bleu cheese. I had to order it because it seemed like a questionable pairing of flavors but knowing the chefs' talents, it had to be good, right? I'm so glad I did. It was delicious! Cyndy and Lisa gave exceptional service. Thank you!

  • Hands down the best service I've had in Fredericton! Waitress was knowledgeable and friendly, was patient with our large group and even though there wasn't an empty seat in the place, came by many times to make sure we were okay. Pricing is reasonable and selection is great. I had the pulled pork nachos and could barely eat half. It was so delicious, very well made, and now I have leftovers for tomorrow. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

  • Great local food, 20+ maritime brews. Service is great and they get as much local meat and produce as they can. They also cross-promote these producers on their menu. You can tell the chef cares. What a restaurant should be.

  • Tonight I had just a snack here, but in the past, I have eaten here several times. A great place not just for pub grub, but to really try and test all the best craft beers Fredericton has to offer. Always very nice staff. Tonight I had the Yip Cider which was clean and crisp and the breaded buttermilk chicken wings. The honey garlic sauce was authentically Asian and delicious, meaning, it was more like a sauce you would get with sushi instead of a thick North American sauce you get at Sobeys. The blue cheese dressing was even better when coating the wings. A great place for friends or colleagues.
